The professional window drawing plugin has three commands: drawing rectangular windows, polygonal windows, and wall openings
Window types that can be used for drawing: fixed rectangular or any other shape of fixed window; Single leaf windows of any shape; A casement window, one or more window sashes; Hanging windows, one or more hanging windows.

Window structural components:

1. Draw a rectangular window
Draw a rectangular window component, choose one of the four window styles, set the size and material of each window structure through parameters, and select whether to open holes on the placement surface.

(1) When hovering over input, the tool tip will provide a detailed explanation of its purpose:

(2) Window type: Choose one of four window types from the drop-down list - fixed window, sliding window, casement window, suspended window

(3) Click on the dropper to retrieve the properties of the created window and directly set the properties to the window parameters dialog box, creating a new window with the same properties.

(4) Number of window sashes: Fixed windows are always set to 0, and the maximum number of window sashes for all other types is 9.

(5) Window size
Window length: Enter the length in the current template unit, or click the ruler button to measure the length on the model. Use the current decimal delimiter for non integers.
Window height: Enter the height in the current template unit, or click the ruler button to measure the length on the model. Use the current decimal delimiter for non integers.
Window frame width: Enter the width in the current template unit. Use the current decimal delimiter for non integers.
Window frame thickness: Enter the thickness in the current template unit. Use the current decimal delimiter for non integers.
Window sash width: Enter the width in the current template unit. Use the current decimal delimiter for non integers.
Window sash thickness: Enter the thickness in the current template unit. Use the current decimal delimiter for non integers.

(6) Window frame material: Select the material for the main frame.
(7) Glass: Clicking "Select" will display the second dialog box.
Select the glass type from "none", "single-layer", "double-layer", and "three-layer". Selecting 'none' means not generating glass components.

(8) Outer contour: Clicking "Add" will display the second dialog box.
Select from "None", "Internal", "External", and "All". Select 'none' to not generate contour components. Choose the shape "O" or "U". The O-shaped contour will be drawn around the main frame, while the U-shaped contour will be drawn like an inverted U-shaped contour (with no contour at the bottom of the window).

(9) Window pane: Clicking 'Add' will display the second dialog box.
Enter the number of vertical bars, 0 means no vertical bars will be drawn, and the maximum number is 10.
Enter the number of horizontal bars. 0 means no horizontal bars will be drawn, with a maximum of 10.

(10) Horizontal bar: Clicking "Add" will display the second dialog box.
Select from "None", "Internal", "External", and "All". Selecting 'none' means that the horizontal bar component will not be drawn.

(11) Curtain box: Clicking "Add" will display the second dialog box.
Select from "None", "Internal", and "All". Selecting 'none' indicates that the curtain box will not be drawn.

(12) Window screen: Clicking "Add" will display the second dialog box.
Choose between "None", "Internal", and "External". Selecting 'none' indicates that the screen group will not be drawn. Enter a percentage (between 0 and 100) to set the degree to which the screen will scroll down, with 100% indicating that the screen covers the entire height.

(13) Layer: Clicking "Configure" will display the second dialog box.
Set layers for each component of the window in the drop-down list, with the default layer being Layer0. If you want to set a component as the current layer, select the 'Active' layer. Layer configuration can be saved in a preset file.

(14) Behavioral parameters
Hole opening: Checking indicates that when creating and placing windows, holes should be made on the surface, and the surface cannot be a group.
Attachment face: Refers to automatically capturing and locking faces in all directions when creating and placing windows, with options of "none, arbitrary face, horizontal face, vertical face, oblique face".
Zoom restriction: Select from "None, 1D, 2D, 3D".
Selecting 'none' indicates that the scaling tool will behave similarly to the normal behavior of this window;
Choosing 1D means that the window will only be scalable in its blue direction;
Choose 2D to indicate that the window can be scaled in its red or green direction;
Choose 3D to indicate that the window can be uniformly scaled in its red, green, and blue directions.

(15) Component Name
Automatically name components with default names, or enter custom names.

(16) Management button
A、 Create "and" Create and Place "buttons
Click 'Create' to save the set parameters.
Click 'Create and Place' to draw and create a window with the currently set parameters, and place it in the specified location.
B、 Load Presets and Save Presets buttons
Click 'Load Presets' to load your saved window parameter template file in the format of' wbp '.
Click 'Save Presets' to save the window parameters as a file with the file extension' wbp ', suitable for' Windows Builder Presets'. Save your commonly used window templates for future reference.
C、 Cancel and Help buttons
There's no need to explain this anymore~
Note: If a preset is loaded that contains some missing layers in the model, these layers will be automatically created.
The 'load preset' contains 4 preset values for testing.

2. Polygon Window
Generate window components based on the selected plane, suitable for other shapes other than rectangles. Please note that the selected plane must be complete and without holes.

(1) Window style
Two types of windows are available: fixed windows and openable windows
(2) Parameters and Behavior
Except for the "Cut Wall" option, most parameters are the same as the option for drawing rectangular windows.
After selecting 'Cut Wall', holes will be made in the wall as much as possible in SU.
Note: "Opening a hole" refers to opening a hole on the surface, while "cutting a wall" refers to opening a hole on the wall. If the thickness of the wall is less than 1 meter, the plugin considers this surface to be part of the wall. The wall can be a regular geometric object or a group. The selected face can be a regular face (outer layer of the group) or a face within the group.

(3) Create "and" Create and Place "buttons
Click 'Create' to save the set parameters.
Click 'Create and Place' to draw and create a window with the currently set parameters, and place it in the specified location. If its' Attachment Surface 'attribute is set to any value other than' None ', it will be attached.
3. Wall opening
This feature can only be used when a valid window component is selected.
Select the window component drawn by this plugin, and when making a hole in the wall, the window (or door) will be pushed onto the inner surface of the wall. Windows can be located inside or outside the wall group.

4. Known issues
(1) Materials with names other than pure ASCII (such as Fon çé, Gr è s, Pl è tre, Mati è re2, etc.) will ultimately be the default materials in most cases.
(2) When creating windows based on faces in a group, the attachment function may sometimes fail, but it may be gradually optimized in the future.
Be careful with old versions! Shows the old version for reference and testing purposes, you should use the latest version.
